Endings Guide
MIO: Memories in Orbit features multiple endings. This guide will help you unlock all available endings, including the True Ending.
Standard Ending
The standard ending is achieved by completing the main story. Progress through The Vessel, find the Pearls (The Eye, The Breath, The Spine, and The Blood), gather their Voices, and complete the main objectives.
This ending is accessible through normal story progression and doesn't require any special conditions.
True Ending (Alternate Ending)
To unlock the True Ending, you must complete a series of specific steps:
Step 1: Find the Severed Finger
Locate a severed finger in the Redacted Lab area. This is a key item required for the True Ending path.
Step 2: Attach the Finger
Take the severed finger to a hand located near The Wheel. Attach the finger to this hand to unlock the path to additional content.
Step 3: Complete the Crucible
After attaching the finger, you'll gain access to The Crucible. Progress through this challenging area.
Step 4: Defeat Boss Shii
The final challenge of the True Ending path is defeating Boss Shii. This is a challenging encounter that requires mastery of combat mechanics.
Step 5: Witness the True Ending
After defeating Shii, you'll unlock and witness the True Ending, which provides additional story context and closure.
⚠️ Important Notes:
- The True Ending path is more challenging than the standard ending
- Make sure you're well-equipped before attempting The Crucible
- Boss Shii is one of the most difficult encounters in the game
- You can still access the True Ending after completing the standard ending

Tips for Unlocking Endings
- •Explore Thoroughly: The severed finger and other True Ending requirements are hidden in specific areas. Don't rush through the game.
- •Prepare for Boss Shii: Before attempting The Crucible, ensure you have optimal modifications and a well-configured Allocation Matrix.
- •Check Your Map: Use your map to identify unexplored areas where key items might be located.
- •No Missables: Remember that nothing is permanently missable, so you can always return to areas you've visited.
